Bronze Collection
The bronzeware in the Bridges Collection includes the parts of a lampstand and a jug.
The lamp rested on on the ring between the three curled 'arms' seen on the left. This would rest on a column decorated with lotus flowers. These lampstands were most likely made by Phoenician artisans in Cyprus around the 8th Century BCE.
