The Old Course - Hole 14

This spherical panorama was taken at Hole 14 of the Old Course. The 14th Hole of the Old Course in St Andrews is also known as the Hell Bunker and is the second most famous bunker on the Old Course, after the Road Hole bunker. It is also one of the world's biggest bunkers – it is 6 ½ feet deep and covers more than 300 square yards.

Even the most successful golfers in the history of the game have been intimidated by this bunker. Among them is Jack Nicklaus, who made a quintuple-bogey 10 on the hole back in the 2000 Open Championship[1].
